sick

I had a stomache virus.  I barfed and had hershey squitrs for 12 hours, then a fever, then after 24 hours I was fine.  Then Daniel got the same thing for 12 hours, then fever, then fine.  Stomache bugs are not fun.

BUT I AM NOT PREGNANT!!

Any questions?

Bachelorette Party

played heather's pictionary game... nice!

a got an awesome cake from my cake pan that has been used for many a bachelorette party.  i didn't even know anyone still had the thing!

had to sit on a piano *with cat ears on* while creepy piano man sang to me.  Meow!

2 guys bought me a shot of tequila... ouch.  i was sipping it, but then my lips went numb.  luckily my big sis took it away...

i drank champagne and lived to tell about it.  it wasn't bad actually.  for champagne.

we all sang karaeoke.  don't even ask what song.

i drank something called SoCo.  tasty with lime.

stormie (talking to a guy) goes..."look, if you don't go away, i'm going to slap you with this empty beer bottle!  yeah, i have one i'm drinkin, and one i'm slappin!"  he left.  hahahahahahahaha

We got kicked out of City Walk.  And it was awesome.  My first time in an American bar and i get booted.  nice.

taco bell at 2am... bad carbs!

we crashed the bachelor party

went to sleep about 6

that freakin' rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 wonders

This is cool if you are a nerd like me (which you likely are, if you're reading this)

They are having a world vote of the "new" 7 wonders of the world.  All of the ancient 7 wonders except for one (the pyramids of Giza) are gone, so they are picking new ones.  The winners will be announced in Lisbon on 7.7.07!!  So anywho you can go to www.new7wonders.com and check out the new candidates, and even vote if you want to register.  The list is interesting.  Here are my picks, in no certain order:

-The Moais of Easter Island, Chile- these are little heard of, but it is crazy.  They found this island with all of these HUGE face-like statues, and they can only speculate how they were put up hundreds of years ago.  Huge.

- The Colosseum, Italy- because I'm going there and it's old and cool.

- Stoneheng, UK- same reasons as the last 2- it's old, big, and no one knows how it got there.

- Sydney Opera House- soooo cool

- Statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil- because I've been there, it's an amazing place to go, and it's a cool statement to have Christ looking over a city in so much trouble and in so much need of Him

- Macchu Picchu- Neruda said it all in his epic poem Heights of Macchu Picchu.  I hope to visit someday.

- Statue of Liberty- Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free; the wretched refuge of your teeming shores, send these, the homeless, tempest tossed to me.  I lift my lamp beside the golden door.  (I had to memorize that in 5th grade and I still remember it.)

So let me have it.  Criticize, agree, make snide remarks... i dare you.

W for WOW

Wicked was great.  I have only been to one or two other big productions, but I would imagine that Wicked takes the cake in general.  The sets were so big and change so fast... it was great.  It was actually kind of an emotional experience to actually see it live.  You could really tell who knew the story and who didn't because at certain critical points a huge *GASP* could be heard from many of the people.  It was just amazing.  We couldn't take pics inside the theatre (duh) but here are a couple before and after.

I'm not going to say anything more since I saw it on opening night and I don't want to ruin it by overdescribing it... but you will not be disappointed!  Go see it so we can talk about it!

"I have been changed... for good!"
